This landmark special is a lush and intimate show, shot in High Definition at the Fallsview Plaza Hotel, just minutes from the Peace Bridge (which was partially the inspiration for the special) between the U.S. and Canada at Niagara Falls. Beautiful World will celebrate how music connects us and brings us all together.
This special taping with many friends will be aired on PBS stations across the country. A theme of friendship, healing and bridging cultures; a collection of quintessential Jim Brickman songs that marry gorgeous piano music with crossover classical. This is approachable, irresistible music with connections to classical (á la Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman), Celtic and Latin music. Alongside this DVD special, other items to follow include a book and CD combo.
To complement the special, Jim will conduct a 100 city tour: 50 cities this fall, and 50 more cities in Spring ’10. One of the most tireless entertainers around, Jim will be making special station appearances whenever possible and, of course, will provide a pledge event for those markets he cannot get to personally.
