Soulmate While I've been in the ministry for over 24 years as a single minister...and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey...I WISH -and PRAY - for that special lady with whom I can share my heart & dreams. I have to say I think this song is catchy but that the lyrics are aweful. This song is based on so much of what the world understands to be good and not much on what God deems as bring Glory to him. How is this sond based in proper doctrine? Yes God loves us and cares about the things that we pray for, but God also is totally soveriegn and he new Eve would eat the apple, that there would be war, people would be lonely, but that was all taken inconsiredation by God when he created the worls and he knew what would be the most glorifing to him- which in turn is the most loving thing. I wish you would consider the impact this song could have on young christians that already think God is there just to answer their prayers and that don't understand that God is tottaly soveriegn and above all, and that he is love- but also just. Prayer My prayer and wish is that the people that I love and care about will come to know Jesus especially the man that I love and care about very much. I am hurting so much because I so much want him to know that Jesus loves him so much that he died on the cross for his sins. I also pray that his daughter will come to know Him as well.
